Tree stump grinding is the process of removing a tree stump using specialised machinery which reduces the stump into chippings. This is by far the most effective and efficient way of removing an unwanted stump. To remove the stump we use machinery called a stump grinder. We have these in different sizes depending on the size of the tree which enables use to grind for both domestic and commercial clients. The stump grinding process is normally pretty quick and you will be left with chippings in the hole where the stump was and they can be usefully used for mulching. After the work is completed you may immediately use the area, so you are free to turf or replant the space where the tree stump was.

Stump grinding is by far the quickest and easiest method of removing a stump. The other main method, apart from the back breaking work of digging it up yourself, is to use chemicals but this mostly takes the same time as it would to let the tree stump die naturally and is therefore a very long process.
